It was decided by the State Cabinet on Friday on apprehension of damage of these structures by castiest and anti-Dalit miscreants.

State Cabinet Secretary Mr. Shashank Shekhar Singh has told media persons that the process for the appointment of security personnel for this new force would start today and within this month, trained security personnel would be deployed at the all ten monuments. The government would spend an additional amount of Rs nine crore for setting up this force.

Mr. Singh has said that there is a shortage of policemen in the state, for which the state government has already started the recruitment of some two lakh policemen and if under such circumstances they were deployed for other tasks, it could have been detrimental to maintaining law and order. He said that under these circumstances the government has decided to raise a special force for the security of these monuments.
