A special short revision campaign is going on to update the voter lists of Uttar Pradesh. State Chief Electoral Officer Randeep Rinwa said on Monday in a press conference in Lucknow that the draft of voter lists in all the Assembly constituencies of the State was published on the 27th of October. Under the revision of voter lists, the period for receiving claims and objections has been fixed till the 9th of December.<br />''   <br />''Mr. Rinwa said that this campaign is being run to update the voter lists to include all eligible voters 18 years of age and above till the 1st of January, 2024.  Mr. Rinwa said that during this special short revision campaign, the 'Main Hoon Na' campaign is also being run for the voters to check their names in the voter list.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">During the campaign, names of eligible and left out persons with disabilities, women, homeless, PVTG, transgender and sex workers are being registered in the voter list.</span><br />
