<span style="color: #222222;">Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena has ruled out any major threat to Odisha owing to the cyclone 'ASANI'. In a press briefing in capital Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening, Mr. Jena said that there is no likelihood of any noticeable degree of rain and wind in any district of the state.<br />''<br />''Sourcing information from the Indian Meteorological Department Mr. Jena said that a weakening cyclone will further weaken into a depression by tomorrow morning. However, he said that even as the cyclone moves along and off the Odisha coast, some districts are likely to come under its spell resulting in moderate rainfall in a few southern and coastal districts. He informed that though about 42 blocks of the state received cyclone induced rainfall ranging from 20 to 50 millimetres during the last 24 hours, no case of inundation has been reported from any part of the state. If at all there is any such case, the concerned District Administration is capable enough to address the issue at its own level with the help of the rescue teams already positioned under their command, added Mr. Jena. </span><br />
