Special narcotics court in Mumbai sends alleged drug supplier Regel Mahakal to 14-day judicial custody

<span style="color: #222222;">A special narcotics court in Mumbai today sent alleged drug supplier Regel Mahakal to 14-day judicial custody in connection with a drug case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier today, Mahakal was taken to a government hospital for medical examination before being produced before the special NDPS (Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances) court. He was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on 9th December for allegedly supplying drugs. He was earlier sent to the custody of the NCB for questioning in the matter. The NCB is currently investigating the drug nexus in Bollywood which has come to the fore post the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to NCB sources, Mahakal had been on a run since the last few months. NCB believes that Mahakal supplied drugs to Anuj Keshwani who was further supplying it to Sushant and his girlfriend Rhea Chakravarty. NCB has, so far, arrested more than 20 people in the case. Several celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh along with others have been interrogated by the NCB.</span><br />''
