Special CBI court to pronounce order on Amit Shah’s bail plea

In Gujarat, the special CBI sessions court will today pronounce its order on the bail application of Amit Shah, the former minister of state for Home. Shah is presently in the Sabarmati jail for his alleged involvement in the fake encounter of gangster Sohrabuddin shaikh and murder of his wife Kauser bi. Shah after his arrest by the CBI had moved the bail application on the ground that there is no substantial evidence in the charge sheet against him and the entire arrest drama is politically motivated. Our Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that Shah’s lawyer Mr. Ram Jethmalani and CBI counsel Mr.KTS Tulsi had completed their the arguments and counter arguments during the last hearing and Special CBI judge is likely to pronounce its verdict later today.
