In Uttar Pradesh Rae Bareli special CBI court has fixed 8th of next month as the next date of hearing in Ayodhya demolition case. <br/><br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports, senior police officer and the main witness of the CBI in Ayodhya demolition case Anju Gupta, deposed before the special CBI court on Saturday. She said to the court that the Supreme Court had allowed only symbolic Kar Seva in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992. <br/><br/>Ms Gupta was Assistant Superintendent of Police at the time of demolition and was deployed in the security of Bharatiya Janata Party leader L K Advani.<br/><br/>Defence lawyer put several questions before her in the court of Special Judge Gulab Singh. Her witness will continue when the court meets again on June 8 next.<br/><br/>The Special CBI court is hearing the case against eight senior BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders including Mr LK Advani, Dr MM Joshi, Uma Bharti, Vinay Katiyar, Ashok Singhal, Giriraj Kishore, Vishnu Hari Dalmiya and Sadhvi Ritambhara for conspiring in the demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya.
