Special arrangements made in Mumbai to administer doses of COVID-19 vaccine

The next phase of Vaccination which began today covering more number of beneficiaries is getting better response in Mumbai and better arrangements are proving to be effective to increase the confidence among the beneficiaries and overcome the sense of uncertainty about the effectiveness of vaccine.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has made special arrangements to administer the doses of vaccine at its main vaccination centres. The doses are being administered in two sessions. The first session is being held from 8 am to 2 pm and the second session will be during 2 pm to 8 pm with separate staff for the two sessions. Additional waiting and registration rooms are kept in place to avoid the crowding and maintain social distance during the drive. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mumbaikars over 45 years of age are visiting the vaccination centres voluntarily and a sense of confidence could be seen on their faces after receiving the first dose of the vaccine. Beneficiaries expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made at the vaccination centre of BKC. The BMC has already set a target of administering one lakh doses of the vaccines per day and marching towards this goal with adequate arrangements. </span><br />
