In Uttar Pradesh, Prasar Bharati Board Chiarman Dr A. Surya Prakash has said that our constitution has given us freedom of speech but nobody can take the liberty to speak against the sovereignty and integrity of the country. He said anybody going against solidarity and national interest should be stringently punished. Dr. Praksh was addressing a gathering on subject 'Freedom of Speech' at Lucknow today. He said article 19 of constitution is meant for freedom of speech but at the same time 19 (A) restricts our liberty of words in the national interest. He said speaking against national security and integrity is an act of sedition.<br/>Quoting several eminent people, he said that our national flag is not of any religion but of nation. To link its colour with any religion is totally wrong. Citing JNU like incident, he said no one can take liberty to speak against national interests and for it strict law be made. <br/><br/>He said DD and AIR of Prasar Bharati are different from other channels. These public institutions have the responsibility of people's interest, national integrity, unity and security. Both these institutions have played an important role in eradication of Polio in the country. At present there are 70 percent houses without toilets in country but with the help of DD and AIR, within four to five years the target of houses with toilets will be achieved
