Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar has said that every parliamentarian should discharge his or her duties properly to ensure smooth functioning of Parliament. She was speaking at a programme organised by a few business groups in Kolkata today. Speaking about the stalemate in both houses of parliament during the just concluded winter session of parliament, she said that discussion is the best way to come to a reasonable conclusion. She also reminded of the role of the common man and the media, to attain this goal.
