<br/>Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar will inaugurate the 75th Conference of Presiding Officers of Legislative Bodies in Srinagar today. <br/><br/>The Lok Sabha Speaker is also the Chairman of the Conference of Presiding Officers. The thrust areas for deliberations are, growing tendency to disrupt the Question Hour and the need to check it and significance of the Committee System in Parliament – the need to strengthen it. <br/><br/>Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, K. Rahman Khan, the Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha, Kariya Munda, and Presiding Officers from all Legislative Bodies in India are attending the two-day Conference. Our correspondent reports, the Conference is being held in Srinagar for the fourth time. The Conference was held for the first time in Srinagar in 1954 and subsequently in the years 1970 and 1987.<br/>
