Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Dr. Sapam Budhichandra Singh died at the AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi early this morning. He was 61. Chief Minister of Manipur Okram Ibobi Singh and the President of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) Gaikhangam rushed to the hospital and condoled the bereaved family members.Dr. Budhichandra was elected twice as a member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from Konthoujam Assembly Constituency.
