The house was adjourned before 30 business days ahead of the scheduled conclusion of the winter session on the 31st of December this year.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, before the house was declared adjourned for an indefinite period, the government managed to pass the appropriation bill of RS 11 thousand 700 crore amid the ruckus created by the opposition members who demanded running the session for a few more days.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The supplementary budget for the financial year 2020-21 had been tabled in the Assembly on the very first day of the session that commenced on the 20th of this month. During the short session spanning 10 days amid the pandemic, the house witnessed uproarious scenes and multiple adjournments with the opposition BJP and Congress cornering the state government on the alleged abduction and murder of a 5 year old girl in the Nayagarh district about 4 months ago. The issue was triggered by the recent self-immolation bid by the bereaved parents demanding justice in front of the state assembly.</span><br />
