Space science institutions should share vital data, information to tackle effects of climate change: ISRO Chief

The Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation Dr K Radhakrishanan has said that for accurate prediction and tackling repercussions of climate change, space science institutions of the world should share vital data and information. <br/> <br/>Addressing the space summit organised as part of the Indian Science Congress, he said that ISRO is prepared to share information with other world bodies in the field. <br/> <br/>AIR Correspondent reports, addressing the space summit organised as part of the Indian Science Congress at Thiruvananthapuram ISRO Chairman said no national can work in isolation for complete success in space science and technology. <br/> <br/>Nobel laureates and NASA representative at the science summit Dr John C Mather has highlighted the ongoing works of NASA using most modern telescopes to unravel the mysteries of space. <br/> <br/>He also explained the possible early history of planet earth. Through visual presentation Dr Mather highlighted the effect of carbon on global climate. <br/> <br/>Prof U R Rao and other eminent scientists from India attended the summit. <br/> <br/>Former President Dr. A PJ Abdul Kalama is to inaugurate the Children Science Congress a short while from now. <br/> <br/>Special lectures on food and nutrition security and science communicator's meet are the other highlights of the second day of Indian Science congress inaugurated by the Prime Minister on Sunday.<br/>
