SP to withdraw cases lodged against Maya party workers

In Uttar Pradesh ruling Samajwadi Party has announced to withdraw cases lodged against party workers during previous Mayawati lead BSP government.Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav told this while addressing a gathering of party workers and leaders from different parts of the state at party headquarter at Lucknow on Thursday. Alleging outgoing BSP government for resource crunch in the state Mulayam Singh Yadav said Samajwadi Party government will fulfill the promises made in its election manifesto. He alleged that BSP government did nothing to increase revenue and resources. Mr. Yadav criticised Mayawati government for creating new districts in the state and said it has forced the government to spend huge amounts for developing basic infrastructure there.
