Samajwadi Party today again came in support of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj over Lalit Modi scandal. Replying to a question outside Parliament, party leader Ramgopal Yadav said his party is convinced with the statement made by Ms. Swaraj in the Lok Sabha in which she had rejected allegations against her.<br/><br/>The Minister had said she never requested the British authorities for arranging travel documents for tainted former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi. Earlier distancing from other opposition parties' demand for Ms Swaraj resignation, SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav had questioned why a woman is being targeted.
