Samajwadi Party members today walked out of the Rajya Sabha saying that they were not satisfied with the reply of the Minister of State for Agriculture, Mr Tariq Anwar on sugarcane prices.

The protest walkout came in the middle of the question hour. Senior SP leader Naresh Agarwal raised a supplementary question asking the government to tell the basis on which the production cost of sugarcane is fixed.
