In Uttar Pradesh, ruling Samajwadi Party on Thursday declared Arvind Singh former president Lucknow University Students Union as its nominee for Rajya Sabha by elections.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that party has also announced its seven nominees for Legislative Council biennial elections.
