In Uttar Pradesh the main opposition Samajwadi Party and a Congress Member of Parliament demanded a CBI probe into the death of senior IAS officer and Principle Secretary Housing of state government Harminder Raj Singh. Mr. Singh was allegedly shot himself dead late Sunday night at his official residence in Lucknow.<br/><br/>A former bureaucrat and Congress MP from Barabanki Mr. P L Punia has said that deceased officer was looking after the ambitious projects of Chief Minister Mayawati including Ambedkar Park and Kanshiram memorials hence his alleged suicide has raised eyebrows.<br/>
