The S&P 500 ended slightly lower yesterday after briefly trading above its record closing high level for a second day. The Dow also fell marginally in the wake of a disappointing forecast from few big companies.
 
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3 percent and the S&P 500 slipped 0.2 percent while the Nasdaq Composite index added 0.3 percent.
