The total sown area of Rabi crops this season in the country is estimated at 108.88-lakh hectare as compared to 61.20-lakh hectare last year. According to an official release, total Pulses sown area is 37.78-lakh hectare, followed by Wheat 15.19 lakh hectare,Rice 0.34 lakh hectare and Coarse cereals 25.87 lakh hectare.
