Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in several parts of the country with showers in the Capital Delhi bringing the much-needed relief from the week-long hot and humid weather conditions.Delhi received 42.8 mm of rain in the last 24 hrs which brought down the maximum temperature to 30 degrees Celsius. The monsoon has been vigorous in Uttarakhand and active in Himachal Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka. However, it has been subdued over Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
