The southwest monsoon has withdrawn completely from north-western parts of the country including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. According to the Met department, it will start withdrawing from central and north eastern regions during the coming week. The country has so far received four percent above normal rainfall this season. In the national capital Delhi, weather continues to remain dry. Weatherman says that the mercury is likely to be between 23 and 34 degrees today.
