Southwest monsoon advances further into some parts of southwest

Indian Metrological Dapartment, Amaravathi in Andhra Pradesh said, the Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some parts of southwest and southeast Arabian Sea and some more parts of Maldives Comorin area.<br />'' <br />''Conditions are becoming favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of south Arabian Sea, Maldives Comorin area, southwest and southeast Bay of Bengal during next 48 hrs.<br />'' <br />''Talking to our Vijaywada Correspondent, S. Stella, Director, IMD, Amaravathi, AP said that Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied by strong surface wing of 30-40 kmph would prevail over North Coastal Andhra Pradaesh and Rayalaseema for next 03 days.<br />'' <br />''As per the Metereological Centre, a Low Pressure Area is very likely to form over southeast  and adjoining east-central Arabian Sea . It is very likely to move north-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression over east-central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea during the subsequent 72 hours.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In view of the above, conditions are likely to become favourable for onset of Southwest Monsoon over Kerala around 1st June 2020.</span><br />
