Southwest monsoon is active over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred in these places today. Rainfall also occurred at Konkan and Goa, West Bengal, Sikkim, Gujarat and Andaman and Nicobar islands. <br/><br/>The depression over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Chhattisgarh moved westwards and lies centred about 120 km east of Hoshangabad. It would move nearly westwards and weaken gradually into a well marked low pressure area.
