Southern Railway today announced cancellation of 15 trains bound for various destinations due to heavy rains in the state. According to Southern Railway release, 15 trains, scheduled to leave from Chennai and Puducherry and passing through Chennai Central today and tomorrow have been cancelled due to the rains. <br/><br/>The important trains that have been cancelled are Tirunelveli-Howrah Express, Tiruvananthapuram-Guwahati Express, Ernakulam-Patna Express, Chennai Central-New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express, Chennai Central-New Delhi Grand Trunk Express, Chennai-Central-Howrah Mail, Chennai Central-Hyderabad Express, Chennai Central-Jaipur Express, Chennai Egmore-Kacheguda Express etc. Puducherry-New Delhi Weekly Express scheduled to leave tomorrow was also cancelled.
