South Zone Chief Ministers’ meet begins in Hyderabad

The South Zone Chief Ministers’ meet has begun a short while ago in Hyderabad to address and sort out the issues relating to implementation of various welfare programmes and schemes with the bankers. Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukharjee is addressing the Chief Ministers and representatives of southern states and Union Territories. Besides Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah and Puducherry Chief Minister V. Vaidyalingam, Ministers from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala and representatives from Union Territories are taking part in the day-long deliberations. Senior officials in Finance ministries of both centre and states, public sector Banks, Reserve Bank and NABARD have also attended. The deliberations are included State-wise flow of Credit, Credit related parameters such as Agriculture, Housing, Education loans and loans to weaker section, financial inclusion plan and other central sponsored schemes.
