South Western Railways zone has operated 85 Shramik Special trains helping one lakh 16 thousand 978 stranded persons, specially migrant workers to reach their home towns from May 3rd till yesterday. Natives of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam have benefitted from this service.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The passengers were provided with food packets and water bottles, dates, cookies and buttermilk for their en-route journey. The Railway Protection Force team is escorting the passengers, ensuring social distancing, wearing of masks and sanitizing hands.
