The South Western Railways has transported over three lakh 11 thousand migrant workers to different destinations across the country by running 216 Shramik trains between May 3 and June 6th.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The railways in coordination with state Government and NGOs not only arranged food packets for the passengers but also gifted toys to their children.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The famous Channapatna traditional toys made of wood were gifted to the children leaving from different parts of Karnataka, a gesture appreciated by the Prime Minister in his tweet. Different NGOs like Lions club, Azim Premji foundation, Mercy mission, United Sikhs, IITians among many others have sponsored food packets and water for the workers and their families.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The minister of state for Railways Suresh Angadi has assured that the South Western Railways will continue running Shramik special trains for the migrant workers.</span><br />
