South Western part of country likely to experience light showers

South Western part of the country is witnessing cloudy weather due to western disturbance and the region is likely to experience light showers this evening. Director General of MeT Department, L S Rathore told AIR that hilly states are also witnessing snowfall due to it. He said the sky in plane areas will be clear from tomorrow and temperature will come down. <br/><br/>Replying to a question about increase in normal temperature during this winter, Mr. Rathore said it is due to deviation in westerlies and anti-cyclone and increase in the temperature in Pacific Ocean.<br/><br/>In Delhi, today's maximum temperature was recorded 24.5 degree celsius, five notches above normal and minimum temperature registered at 11.5 degree celsius, four notches above normal. The weatherman has predicted light rain and shallow fog in the morning in different parts of the city. Tomorrow, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 24 degrees Celsius and minimum 10 degrees.
