The South – West Monsoon is fully active in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate rain has occurred at several places in Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Allahabad divisions during past 24 hours. Our correspondent reports that the weather has become pleasant and farmers have started agricultural activities.
