The south-west monsoon has been active in most parts of north India, especially UP and Punjab. <br/><br/>According to the Met Department, rain and thundershowers are expected in parts of Eastern-UP, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan in the next 48 hours. <br/><br/>The National Capital today witnessed high levels of humidity with the maximium temperature hovering around 36.6 degree celcius. According to the weathermen, spells of rain and thundershowers may greet the city in the next 48 hours.<br/>
