South Korea's 2008 Olympic badminton gold medallist Lee Yong-Dae and another player Kim Ki-Jung have been banned for one year for missing doping tests. The Badminton World Federation today said, the ban will be effective until January 23, 2015.The Badminton Korea Association, BKA has described the ban as extreme and unfair. BKA said, the absence of both players during visits by anti-doping inspectors had been due to international competition. Both players have the right to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports, by the 17th of next month.
