South Korea's Coast Guard today found a body in waters near Daecheong Island off west coast of South Korea, where a fishing boat went missing yesterday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the identity of the body has been determined to be one of the nine crew members onboard the fishing boat. The 100-ton fishing boat "Kumyang 98" lost contact last night while returning from a search operation for 46 missing sailors of the Navy ship "Cheonan" that sank last week near the South Korean island of Baekryeongdo. Rescue operations are still underway, but the other eight sailors remain missing.
