South Korea has successfully test-fired a home developed ballistic missile with a range long enough to hit any part of North Korea. Citing a high ranking Government official, Yonhap news agency said, the missile with a range of 800 kilometres could serve as a strong deterrent to Pyongyang. The test comes a day after the North Korea fired its own ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan. <br/><br/>The new missile could cover all of North Korea even when fired from a southern region of the country. Meanwhile, North Korea's nuclear weapons programme is likely to dominate when US President Donald Trump meets China's leader Xi Jinping in Florida today.
