In its recent report, it has demanded that Pakistan must stop invasive attacks on the public lives of citizens through regressive laws that restrict civil liberties.<br />''<br />''It said the state of security and freedom of expression remains one of deep concern in Pakistan.<br />''<br />''The shrinking space for civil society indicates the heightened threats to Pakistani human rights defenders and free thinkers.<br />''<br />''The Rights body said  minorities have been victims of enforced disappearances, illegal detention and in some instances murder as well.<br />''It said, Pakistani civil society groups  feel that the systemic elements of coercion  operate through covert state parties.<br />''<br />''It suggested that laws should remain in line with Pakistan's international commitments through the UN Conventions, EU conventions, as well as agreements on human rights.<br />''<br />''Earlier, the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) in its annual report in April 2020 highlighted the problem of forced conversion of Hindu and Christian girls, including minors.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">It said over a thousand cases of forced conversion and forced marriage of these girls occurred in the Sindh province alone in 2019.</span><br />
