The junior Indian judokas dominated the recently concluded South Asian Cadet Judo winning 16 gold medals, including nine by girls. In all, India won 17 medals in the competition which concluded in Nepal on July 31, and emerged as the champion side. Hosts Nepal and Bangladesh were the two other teams which participated in the four-day event, organised by the International Judo Federation's Judo For Peace Commission.
