In South Africa, African National Congress (ANC) is set to vote today on who will succeed President Jacob Zuma as its leader. <br/><br/>The main contenders are the country's deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, and former Cabinet Minister and President Zuma's ex-wife Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. <br/><br/>More than 5,000 delegates are taking part in the four-day elective conference of ANC at the Expo Centre in Johannesburg. The ballot is done in secret and the result is expected later today.<br/><br/>President Zuma, who has been in power since 2009, will step down as ANC chief at the meeting, but will remain as head of state ahead of General elections in 2019. <br/><br/>The party has been in power in South Africa since the country transitioned to democracy in 1994 under Nelson Mandela.
