The South African President Jacob Zuma has instructed his Ministers to return to the negotiating table to try end the public sector strike, now entering its third week. The decision comes as more workers in South Africa's water and tyre making industries are expected to join the strike. There are threats from the private sector also. Striking workers have been rallying in the country's main cities and towns, including the capital Pretoria, Cape Town, Johannesburg and the North West Province among others.
