South Africa win toss; elect batting

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final one day international at Ahmedabad. India has already won the series 2-0. Indian skipper Mahinder Singh Dhoni expressed confidence that despite few changes made in the team, boys will give 100 percent in the field on the flat wicket. South African Captain Jacques Kallis said, his team is looking for a modest total of 260 on this pitch. Our correspondent reports that, while, India will try for a clean sweep, the proteas will try to salvage some prestige by winning the final match. Champion batsman Sachin Tendulkar and opener Virender Sehwag have been given rest. The uncapped Murali Vijay of Tamil Nadu will open the batting with his state-mate Dinesh Karthik for the hosts.
