South Africa win Centurion Cricket test against India

South Africa have taken a one-Nil lead in the on-going three-Test Cricket series against India. On the fifth and final day of the first Test at Centurion on Monday, the hosts claimed India's last two wickets in 35 deliveries to win the match by an innings and 25 runs. India, who resumed their second innings on 454 for eight, were bowled out for the addition of only five runs. Sachin Tendulkar, who reached the coveted landmark of scoring 50 centuries in Test cricket yesterday, remained unbeaten on 111. The final scores: India – 136 and 459South Africa – 620 for four declared. Jacques Kallis who scored his maiden Test double century by making 201 not out, in the South African innings won the man-of-the-match award. The second Test in Durban starts on Sunday.
