South Africa fined for slow over-rate during 1st ODI

The ICC today announced that South Africa have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during yesterday's victory in the opening game of the ODI series against India in Kanpur. 40 percent match fees of Skipper AB de Villiers has been deducted. South African side was ruled to be two overs short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration. The second ODI will be held in Indore on Wednesday.
