South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the third one-day international in Johannesburg today. Sent in to bat at Wanderers Stadium, Sri Lanka made 163 in 39.2 overs. Opener Niroshan Dickwella top-scored with 74. The hosts achieved the victory target of 164, in 32 overs, losing three wickets. De Villiers was the top scorer with an unbeaten 60, while J Duminy was not out on 28. South Africa now lead the five-match series 3-0. The next match will be played in Cape Town on February 7 while the final encounter is slated for Centurion on February 10.
