South Africa brisk after early loss

In the second cricket test at Eden Garden in Kolkata South Africa are all set to pile up huge total against host India. The Proteas are 195 for one when the reports last came in.Earlier, South African captain Graeme Smith won the toss and elected to bat first .For India, fit-again VVS Laxman returned to the playing XI replacing Wriddhiman Saha. South Africa also made one change to the squad. With back spasm ruling out wicketkeeper Mark Boucher, the visitors brought in debutant Alviro Petersen. India trail 0-1 in the series.
