South Africa beat New Zealand by two runs, while Sri Lanka defeated The Netherlands by 9 wickets in the two group matches of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup at Chittagong, Bangladesh, today.In the first match, New Zealand which elected to field, were restricted to 168 for 8 in the stipulated 20 overs as against South Africa's score of 170 for 6. Dale Steyn, who claimed 4 wickets giving away 17 runs, bowled a brilliant final over to snatch victory from the chance of a defeat for South Africa. In the other group match, Sri Lanka, which elected to field, bowled out the Dutch for the lowest T-20 score ever, claiming all their wickets for just 39 runs in 10.3 overs. Sri Lanka then went past the Dutch score in 5 overs, closing their innings at 40 for 1.
