South Africa beat India by 7 wickets in the first T-20 Cricket match at Dharamshala

South Africa chased down a big total of 200 to register victory over India in the first T-20 match of Gandhi-Mandela series. Chasing 200 runs, the visiting side overhauled the target with 7 wickets in hand and two balls remaining at Dharamshala Friday night. An unbeaten lethal 55 ball 105 run partnership between JP Duminy and Farhan Behardien carried the South African side to victory. Duminy was adjudged Man Of The Match for his vital 68 runs of just 34 balls.The match was in India's quadrant when, three wickets fell quickly, but India could not capitalise on it further.Put into bat first, the Indian side posted a big total of 199 for the loss of 5 wickets. Indian innings was propelled by Rohit Sharma's superb century. He made 106 and was ably supported by Virat Kohli who made 43.South Africa leads the three match T-20 series 1-0.
