In the second Cricket Test aginst India at Centurion, South Africa were 269 for Six in their first innings on the opening day on Saturday. Electing to bat after winning the toss, the hosts made a good start with an opening partnership of 85 runs. The notable scorers today were opener Aiden Markram who made 94 and Hashim Amla who was run out for 82.For India, spinner Ravinchandran Ashwin claimed three of the four wickets that fell on Saturday. Pacer Ishant Sharma accounted for the other dismissal.South Africa lead the three-Test series One-nil, after winning the first match played at Cape Town by 72 runs.
