Addressing an election meeting in Dhanbad Congress President Sonia Gandhi has stressed the need to form a stable government in Jharkhand. She also asserted that corruption in public life could be routed out with the help of all political parties. Referring to the works done by the state government under President rule, she said that around nine lakh poor people were provided job under NREGA in the state. Mentioning the achievements by UPA government in the Centre, the Congress President said that separate minority welfare ministry was created during last UPA goverment. Moreover, loan of the farmers were waived and thousands of villages were electrified under Rajiv Gandhi Electrification Project. Dealing with naxal problem in the state, she said that the naxalites could be brought into mainstream only by having talks with them. Mrs. Gandhi is also schedule to address an election meeting in Dumka in the afternoon.<br/> <br/>
