Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi will attend Prime Minister- designate Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony on Monday at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Sonia had earlier sent a letter to Modi congratulating him on 20th of this month hours after he was elected as BJP Parliamentary Party leader, paving the way for him to become the Prime Minister. Sonia Gandhi is also the Chairperson of the Congress-led UPA.

Congress suffered the worst debacle in the recent Lok Sabha polls after remaining in office for ten years.
