Sonia likely to unveil party’s plan to counter Opposition’s campaign on Monday

Congress President Sonia Gandhi is expected to unveil the party's plan to counter the Opposition campaign at a meeting of party MPs in New Delhi tomorrow. Mrs. Gandhi will be addressing the meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) on the last day of the winter session that saw longest ever shutdown of Parliament by Opposition demanding Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the 2G Spectrum issue. This will be the CPP's first meeting in the winter session. This will also be the first interaction between Mrs. Gandhi and party MPs after the Bihar assembly polls. Our correspondent reports, while each Parliament session used to have two CPP general body meetings, one soon at the start and another shortly before end, recent sessions have seen the meetings reduced to just one.
