UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today offered the full support of the central government in making Jammu and Kashmir a progressive state and also lauded the tribal Gujjar community's contribution in fighting terrorism in the state. She was speaking in Jammu, where she inaugurated a Tribal Cultural Centre built by the Gurjar Desh Charitabe Trust . She said, her party and the United Progressive Alliance government at the Centre are committed to the development of Jammu and Kashmir. She said that the contribution of Gujjar and bakerwals is immense in foiling the designs of terrorists in the state and fighting terrorism. Theirs is a saga of bravery and deep commitment towards the nation.
